FAQ
What is Ajda?
Ajda is a free map of Serbia with public transport and navigation: search for places and addresses, opening hours and phone numbers, bus and train routes with transfers, and walking, cycling and driving navigation with voice guidance.
Is Ajda free?
Yes. The map, routes and navigation are free and work without an account. An account is only needed to sync saved places between devices and to leave ratings, reviews and photos.
Which cities have public transport?
Novi Sad (all JGSP city and suburban lines), Belgrade (city and suburban transport), Niš, Kragujevac, Pančevo, Požarevac, Čačak, Vranje, and Srbijavoz trains across Serbia. Walking, cycling and driving navigation work everywhere in Serbia.
Is this the official GSP or Srbijavoz app?
No. Ajda is an independent project. Routes are calculated from the operators' official timetables and open data; times at intermediate stops are sometimes estimated, and temporary detours may appear with a delay.
How does the app know which bus I'm on?
In Novi Sad, with “I'm already on the bus”, Ajda compares your movement with line routes and the timetable, recognises the line by itself, counts the stops and tells you when to get off. If you search for a route while riding, it starts from your bus's next stop.
Is there an iPhone app?
There is an Android app for now. On iPhone and on a computer Ajda works in the browser at maps.ajda.online — nothing to install.
Does it work offline?
An internet connection is needed for now. Downloadable offline regions are planned.
What about privacy?
Ajda shows no ads and uses no advertising cookies; usage statistics are anonymous and cookie-free. See the privacy policy for details.
